The unknown has always fascinated us.
 The void and the unpredictable awaken the human spirit, leading us toward curiosity or causing us to withdraw.

Unknown Substance explores this realm of sensation. Using metal pipes, iron objects, and plastic sheets, the two dancers move like automatons or machines, but also like two human beings searching for partnership and harmony. In a place where cars are repaired where the smell of tires and oil stains on the floor become part of the scenery they cast their silhouettes like two sculptures paying a visit. For one hour, the garage transforms into a museum of wheels and mechanisms: some waiting to be repaired, others left exactly as they are useless, perhaps, yet carrying a kind of beauty that both disturbs and challenges us
