Annabelle Dvir (29) graduated her MA and BA with the Dean’s honors from The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and the two years Choreography Program at KELIM CHOREOGRAPHY CENTER – Bat Yam. She’s the recipient of the DanceWEB scholarship 2018 – ImPulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival, and the Art’s Excellence scholarship of Holon Municipality in 2018, 2014. Her last piece ‘Work of Flesh – Soundtrack for Five Slammed Bodies’ premiered at Intimadance Festival 2018, participated in residencies at Arts Printing House – Vilnius Lithuania, at Tights: Dance & Thought1ST ANNUAL CONFERENCE, and showcased at the Jerusalem International Dance Week 2018 – International Exposure. Her research processes received the Mifal Hapais – Culture & Art Division financial support of 2018-2019 and for 2019-2020. Her work ‘Instrumental Bodies’ (premiered at Between Heaven and Earth Festival 2017 & The Jerusalem BiennaleTower of David Museum) received the Ministry of Culture and Sports support in 2017. Annabelle is a member of The Israeli Choreographers Association following the beginning of 2019 and YAEL – Independent Jerusalem Dance Artists Forum supported by Jerusalem city council – since 2016.
