Triptych for a Woman and a Dog

The concept of a triptych, which contains within it both a division into three images and the connection between them, serves as a foundation for me to engage with a reality that holds both separation and oneness.
It is a form of unity under constant threat of disintegration—into its components and compositions, which are invited to become individual, to become one.
In this dance/performance work, a curtain and two figures—a woman and her dog—play out, across the three images, the dynamic of separation and togetherness, setting off on shared adventures.
This work began during my MA studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and continued to develop through mentorship and support at the 2024 Performance Conference at the School of Visual Theater, and at the 2024 Room Dances Festival.
