This is a raw and heartfelt monologue of a woman telling her story — of love that grew and love that broke, of pain and joy, of memories resurfacing and a present searching for answers.
It is a performance about relationships — between mother and daughter, between a woman and her son, between a man and a woman, and between a person and themselves.
About women who are not afraid to be who they truly are.
About fear, strength, fragility — and the simple desire to feel whole.
A piece that asks us to pause, to feel, and to remember what it means to be human.

To dance as if no one is watching — the ultimate dream!
But what if they not only watch, but also judge and score your every move?
“Such courage,” many would say.
Yet hand in hand with courage come many fears, and an amplified awareness of flaws and weaknesses —
To hide, to erase, to conceal.
And so, in the journey to find myself, I discovered how the power of self-acceptance embedded in the pole
is worn down under the eyes of another —
especially when that gaze stares back at you from the mirror.
