Her own room

Inspired by the Virginia Woolf’s book, ‘A Room of One׳s Own’, this performance questions the universal condition of women. According to Woolf, if women had their own room like men have their office, they could also become writers, artists, creators…
Almost 100 years after the artwork׳s publication, the performer writes, in her own room at the Brown Hotel, a choreographic score for women who still don׳t have their own space.
Between intimacy and exuberance, loyalty and independence, the movement born, developed and exhaust beyond the room walls, freely.
