Rachelle Bourget, a contemporary dance artist based in Montreal, has collaborated with many choreographers, including Daina Ashbee, The Margie Gillis Foundation, VIAS DANZA, Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers, ENTITEY/jason martin, VIVUS – James Viveiros, and Riley Sims. Her choreographic practice delves into themes of shame, escapism, fixation and the deconstruction of sex and beauty, aiming to explore emotional experiences that audiences can resonate with and simultaneously reject.
