Tiera Joly Pavelich

Tiera Joly Pavelich is a danse and sound artist of settler French and Croatian heritage. Joly Pavelich trained at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre where she had the pleasure to perform in works by; Darryl C. Tracy, Apolonia Velasquez, Marc Boivin, Massimo Agostinelli, Kate Alton, Sharon B. Moore, and Julia Sasso. Now based in Montreal, Tiera Joly Pavelich has presented her choreographic works under the moniker Alive & Running at; Montreal St-Ambroise FRINGE festival, Cabaret Tollé, This is not a fringe, Bouge d’ici, Camp_IN and Carte Blanche. In 2020, she was awarded the James Saya Bursary for excellence by Department of Contemporary Dance of the University of Concordia. Alongside presenting her own work, Tiera works in culture as a coordinator for companies and independent artists such as Centre de Création O Vertigo, Festival FIKA(S) and radio iii / ꭶꮼꮒꮝꭹ ꮶꭲ by Hanako Hoshimi-Caines, Elisa Harkins and Zoe Poluch. Tiera is excited to join the team of Montréal Danse in the role of production coordinator.
