What Holds Us explores dependency as a system that glorifies surrender, reshapes pain into devotion, and uses repetition to construct belief. The performers hold onto one another until the contact becomes unbearable, letting go only in order to cling again. A shared movement travels through all the bodies, belonging to none of them alone. Moving between trust, desire, and submission, the work asks: when dependency becomes habit and freedom is no longer ours to choose, what remains?
