Hai Cohen

 

“Marie” is a solo work unfolding from slow, almost monastic observation. The stage presence operates within a narrowing space, where simple actions gain weight and substance. The work questions the representation of a non-typical body within a broader context, and the possibility of viewing it beyond the everyday gaze. The continuity of movement charges the body with subtle tension, between measured and slumped.
