Elad Schechter is a Jerusalem native dancer and choreographer. A graduate of the High School for the Arts in Jerusalem, he served in the IDF Theatre department and danced in many professional companies, such as ‘Charleoi Danses, Brussels’, ‘Vertigo Dance Company’ ׳Kibutz Contemporary Dance Company’ and more.
Into 2012 he founded the c.a.t.a.m.o.n Dance Group in Jerusalem. Schechter has been creating works since 2009. He is the recipient of the silver medal at the international choreography competition of Beijing in July 2011. Alongside his artistic work, Elad is developing Jerusalem based projects that aims to develop dance, art and culture scene in the city. Elad founded ‘From Jaffa to Agripas’ – Dance in Machne Yehuda market, curated and developed ‘Alliance House’ – A home for creative communities, for ‘New-Spirit’ organization and curating ‘Dance in Masie’ – The complete dance series in Jerusalem at ‘Beit Masie’ Theater, since 2012.
Itai Biri was born and raised in Jerusalem. He started making music by the age of 15, fee years later he already holds impressive professional producing & dj skills with a wide range between loopy experimental techno till Chicago and Detroit classic deep house.
Itai made a special set for c.a.t.a.m.o.n project.
Gilad Jerusalmy, born in 1989, grew up in Tel Aviv. Graduate of the dance training ‘Hamaslul’ under Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan, studied at SEAD – Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance – Austria, a graduate of ‘Hakvutza’ a dance, contact improvisation and theater studies. Thelma Yellin high school graduate.
Lital Netzer Ben Horin
Lital Netzer Ben Horin was born in Israel in 1987. Currently lives in Haifa. Graduate ‘Hamaslul’ course in Tel Aviv under Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. Graduate of SEAD Salzburg, Austria.
Danced Two years at – WEE DANCE COMPANY, artistic direction – Dan Peleg and Marko Weigert. Gorlitz, Germany. Lital continues to collaborate with independent creators.
In addition, over the years has raised a number of independent creations such as ‘Today’, ‘Inbetween’ and more.
Lital is interested in sincerity and honesty in movement, she likes to dive to the bottom of the images, play with them in order to create physically different worlds.
Nitzan Lederman was born in Kiryat Ono. Dancer, dance teacher and an independent choreographer. In recent years, she worked with choreographers Sharona Florsheim, Rotem Tashch, Shai Faran, Daphne Horenczyk and David Gordon. Created the “Heart Matters” – solo creation that premiered in ‘Machol Shalem’ dance festival 2015, “Blue” – in collaboration with Eyal Bromberg and “Mrs. Paul Ms Catch ” in collaboration with Maayan Horesh for ‘Intimadance’ 2013.
Graduated from SEAD – Academy of Dance in Salzburg – Austria, Dance Workshop at Kibbutz Ga’aton and high school of the Arts “Ironi A” in Tel Aviv.

Tom Lev Dekel
Tom Lev Dekel – c.a.t.a.m.o.n’s Production Manager
Tom Lev was born in Zoran 1986. Graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance -BA in choreography. Tom Lev is a creator, dancer, dance and improvisation teacher and a certified Ashtanga Yoga Vinyasa teacher.
Premiered her debut creation ‘Hama’agal’ at the Jewish Biennale of Contemporary Art 2015. Collaborating with many artists in various media.
Tom Lev is the production manager of c.a.t.a.m.o.n since October 2013. She has produced and managed ‘From Jaffa to Agripas’ alongside many of the company’s projects. Tom Lev is creating with a sense of connection and stimulation from the nature and the human bodies that surrounds all of us.
Michael Levy is a Jerusalemite actor, born and raised in the city. The line between dance and theater intrigs him and has been one of the motives for Michael’s creation. Michael beleives and chooses his roles from a point of view of festivity both for the roles he plays and for him as a person.
Yoav Kleinman was born in 1993 in Jerusalem. Currently lives in Tel Aviv. Graduated from the Academy of Music and Dance in 2011, studied at ‘Hamaslul’ dance training in Tel Aviv. Danced with c.a.t.a.m.o.n Dance Group, Ronit Ziv, Gil C. Harush and Barak Marshall. Likes people, movement, music, the city and the desert..
Inbar Shalev was born in 1991, grew up in Moshav Ein Yahav in the central Arava, currently lives in moshav Beit Halevi – Emek Hefer.
Served in the IDF as an outstanding dancer, graduated ‘Vertigo’ dance training workshop and ‘Hamaslul’ under Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. Danced at the Kolben Dance Company.
Collaborated with c.a.t.a.m.o.n in creating ‘Urfa’. Inbar loves working through human happiness and enjoys the possibility to look into the audience eyes and feel the joyfulness of the surroundings.
Adi Peled – Born and raised in Ness Ziona, based in Tel Aviv. Graduate ‘Hamaslul’ under Naomi Perlov and Ofir Dagan. Graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and a certified as a Pilates teacher. Former dancer at the Vertigo 2nd company, worked with numerous choreographers including Dafi Altabeb, Sahar Azimi, Ariel Cohen, Gil C. Harush and Sofia Kranz.
Won a scholarship from the Sharet Foundation for the International Summer Course in Vienna.

Sherry Tito – c.a.t.a.m.o.n’s Branding Manager
Grew up in Yavne, graduated Bezalel in 2007 – visual communication. Lives in Tel Aviv and works in Jerusalem,married and raising three small children. teaching illustration at the Musrara School. Image maker, graphic designer, illustrator and lecturer. Draws inspiration from real life, people, extream meetings and the connections between all of the above.
c.a.t.a.m.o.n is home to artists of various kinds; dancers, choreographers, musicians, video artists, sound, graphic designers and many others. The vast majority of these artists live and work in Jerusalem. The group is working on many levels to connect various artists to the dance world and promote this art to audiences in Jerusalem and outside of it.
Since July 2012, c.a.t.a.m.o.n produced 16 original pieces. Five of those choreographed by Elad Schechter – artistic director and founder of c.a.t.a.m.o.n. Eleven original pieces, choreographed by guest choreographers, were produced as part of ‘From Jaffa to Agripas’ dance in Mahane Yehuda market events.
Since its inception in 2012, the group performed over 100 performances. About half of them in the city of Jerusalem and a half across communities in Israel and around the world.
